Slim PS3 news: Ninja Gaiden 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360 revealed

The latest PS3 news:

Get ready for a lot of broken game controllers. Temco reveals Ninja Gaiden 3, the sequel for the highly valued action game series. The revelation occurred behind closed doors in the GDC developer’s conference.

Ninja Gaiden is a violent and cruel action games series based on the classic games series NES, which is considered to be one of the most difficult brands in recent years. The first game in the series was released originally for the original Xbox console and received a re-make named Ninja Gaiden Sigma that was released for the PS3.

The second game in the series was released in 2008 for the Xbox 360 console and also received success (although it was considered to be less successful than the first game). This game was also re-made for the PS3 and was called Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

The third game apparently will be released for the two HD consoles simultaneously. This is the first Ninja Gaiden Temco is producing without Tomonobi Itagaki, who headed the brand and left the company after Ninja Gaiden 2 was released.

The company is planning on revealing additional details during the coming E3 conference. So far, it is only willing to say that the new game will be even more violent than its predecessors (who were quite violent), and include a darker more mature story than the previous games in the series.
