Metal Gear Solid 4 Art Book on the Way

A few scans have been released from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 4 Master Art Works. The book is set to release in Japan just before the end of the year.

The scans suggest that the book – releasing on December 28th for 3,045 yen (about $34), will contain a lot of unreleased art work by Yoji Shinkawa for Metal Gear Solid 4. Import vendors like Play-Asia are already taking pre-orders.

This will be the fourth full art book dedicated to a Metal Gear Solid game and the first released in six years.

The first two games had an art book dedicated to each, but Metal Gear Solid 3 did not, only getting a small back story book called “The Countdown” that contained some art work. The third art book was a 2004 updated version of the one for the original Metal Gear Solid that contained additional assets from the Gamecube remake.
